In-Home Dog Training | CLT

Owner focused dog training & coaching designed to help you and your dog feel confident and connected in real life.

Maybe you've tried different training approaches in the past—the big box group classes, the TikTok tips, the board-and-train that didn't stick. Or maybe you're starting fresh with a puppy and you just want to get it right from the beginning.

Here's the thing: most training falls apart because it doesn't account for your real life. The messy mornings, the doorbell chaos, the moment your dog sees a squirrel and suddenly everything you practiced disappears.

I coach you in your own home, in your real environment, so you actually learn how to lead your dog through the chaos—not just the calm. We'll break the cycles of frustration, replace reactivity with calm connection, and build the skills you need to make training stick.

Because it's not my dog. It's your dog.

Real Results

✓  We Start Where You Are
We'll talk on a discovery call about your dog's behavior, your goals, and your daily routine. No cookie-cutter plans here. Just honest conversation about what's working and what's not.

✓  I Coach You Hands-On
In our sessions, I work with your dog while coaching you through the handling, timing, and leadership skills you need. You'll practice with me there to guide you, so you're confident and clear.

✓  The Training Sticks
You'll get homework to practice between sessions, plus my "Coach in Your Pocket" support via text and email. This isn't about perfection—it's about building skills you can use for life.

THE TUNE-UP

The Good Dog Syndrome

Your dog is actually pretty good, but leaves a little to be desired in some areas. Maybe it's jumping on guests, pulling a little too hard on the lead, or maybe you've done some solid DIY training, but need a little guidance to help you take it to the next level with your dog. This program is for the dog owner looking for a tighten up, not an overhaul.

Single session · 90 min · In-home

Life changes — new baby, new home, new dog in the mix — and sometimes you just need one focused session to get back on track. Best for existing clients or graduates who've hit a new challenge. This is a maintenance tool, not a starting point.

Virtual Coaching - $50

45-60 Minute Video Call

Your Coach in Your Pocket

Real life doesn't wait for your next session. That's why every package includes text and email support between sessions—so when your dog pulls on the leash Tuesday morning or freaks out at the doorbell, you're not stuck guessing what to do.

Quick questions? Text me.
Need a video review? Send it.
Not sure if you're doing it right? I'll tell you.

You're not doing this alone.

A Quick Note on Pricing & Travel

The prices listed here are starting points for sessions within the Charlotte 485 loop. If you're outside the loop, there's a $50 travel fee to cover drive time and mileage.

Your final investment may also vary based on things like behavioral complexity (bite history, severe reactivity) or additional training tools needed to set you up for success. But don't worry—we'll talk through all of this on your discovery call so you know exactly what to expect. No hidden fees, no surprises.

Ready to Get Started?

Tell me what's going on with your dog, what you've already tried, and what you want life to look like on the other side. We'll figure out the right fit together.

Genna is the best! She helped us first time dog owners so much with our six month old very sassy and stubborn doodle pup. Her trainings on leash etiquette, recall, and basic commands were so helpful. I was even anti e-collar at the start but she was so patient with us and fully converted us... We are so grateful for her and her epic skills! I would recommend her to any dog owner!
